On December 28, 2016, the Second Phase of Guangzhou Metro Line 6 and the First Phase of Metro Line 7 contributed by GKS were open to traffic. GKS is responsible for supplying the metal ceiling of the public areas of two lines and advertising light boxes and guide signs of the First Phase of Metro Line 7.

The Second Phase of Guangzhou Metro Line 6 , with a total length of 17.6 km, is the first phase of the extension line for Metro Line 6. Starting from Tianhe Botanical Garden Station in the west and ending at Xiangxue Station, Huangpu District in the east, there are 10 stations along Metro Line 6. Stretching from Guangzhou South Railway Station, Panyu District in the west to Higher Education Mega Center S. Station of Higher Education Mega Center in the east, the First Phase of Metro Line 7, after its completion, will accelerate the formation of public transportation network with rail transit as its backbone and build the rail transit corridor within the Panyu residential clusters, greatly promoting the integrated development of Guangzhou City and Foshan City, and effectively enhancing the communication between Higher Education Mega Center and Guangzhou South Railway Station.
