Product Definition

The signage system is an environmental public facility in the public areas that guide people for their safe, reasonable and orderly activity. Generally, it refers to the common signs and labels. In different areas, different subsystems can act their functions respectively, including identification system, direction system, space system, description system, administration system which constitute together the sign system of the whole environment.

Functions and Application

1. Signs and labels can be applied for marking, in the form of, for example, texts and images for transmission; 2. It is a kind of information transmission media, functioning as the advertising media; 3. Signs and labels execute the industrial functions and role. By the demand of the modern automated society, the signs-manufacturing industry cannot be simply defined as a labor-intensive industry any more.
Signage system can be applied for organizing passenger flow during ordinary operation or in emergency evacuation. Under normal operation, the signage system is used for guiding passengers for fast entering or exiting of public spaces.

Classified by design form, the signage system can be: wall guide sign design, overhead guide sign design, ground guide sign design, dynamic guide sign design and acoustic controlled guide sign design.

In addition, categorization can also be based on application environment, installation environment and way of installation etc. 

According to engineering construction and management need, the Gold-Kings products are classified by way of installation, including the following five categories: suspended signage system, wall-hanging signage system, standing signage system, attached signage system, wall-mounted signage system.

（1） Suspended Signage System
Light box with illuminants inside. Information on the guide signboard is displayed on both sides or on just one side.


（2） Wall-hanging Signage System
Light box with illuminants inside. Information on the guide signboard is displayed on just one side.

（3） Standing Signage System
There are two standing signage systems: product with illuminant inside to glow and product without illuminant inside. Ground signboard or floor information board are products with illuminant inside; signs such as note for using elevator are products without illuminant inside.


（4） Attached Signage System
All attached signage system products are those without illuminant inside, including warm prompt in barrier-free elevator, line operation map, name board, toilet position sign etc.


（5） Wall-mounted Signage System 

Excluding notice board, other boards are light boxes with illuminant inside. Information on the guide signboard is displayed on just one side.
